How are Drones used for Security?
Drone security operations are provided 24hrs a day 365 days a year. Up-skilling existing human guards can quickly add technology that can assist with foot and mobile patrols, and provide deployed security personnel and the client with a powerful new capability in surveillance and routine monitoring of their site. Drones can access all areas, and they are unhindered by out of bounds areas, barriers, fences and buildings.
A drone security Remote Pilot can cover larger areas, at greater frequency, and provide superior data for routine survey and incident reports.

Responsive Action
Security teams using drone technology can provide both routine patrols over large areas and incident response. Drones fly and respond quicker than physical security and offer greater data collection than traditional methods.
Our Support VehiclesProviding drone security and surveillance at a major event requires expert support with additional equipment and vehicles. In order to safely deploy services for show control and crowd flow monitoring, the flight crew must be supported with communications, environmental control for human and aircraft, and fatigue management. Our operations support vehicles ensure we can deliver our services safely and professionally. You can learn more about our support vehicles here: Drone Operations Support Unit.

Advanced Night OpticsA major advantage in deploying security drones at night is the ability to deploy sensors which support superior detection of humans and vehicles in complete darkness. Our security drones are equipped with the very best in Infra red technology and we deploy both low light cameras using Infra red illumination and high definition thermal. Thermal provides detection at long range and beyond site boundaries. Combine thermal with a spotlight, and you have a very effective means to detect and deter criminal behaviour. Rapid Response, Situational Awareness and Intelligence Gathering
Drone security offers immediate response to potential increasing and escalating threats, limiting delays in decision making time in critical situations. It allows for rapid ‘eyes’ on target, and increases accurate and timely passage of information to key individuals whom must act quickly. Normally guards or Health and safety have to respond in the first instance, to an unknown situation, putting their own safety at risk. A drone provides improved safety for security and other employees by classifying, and confirming a likely threat, ensuring that any required response is well briefed, prepared, justified and proportionate.
Efficient and Cost Saving
Airvis provides a cost-effective solution; self-sufficient, sustainable dynamic, and mobile. We can provide overwatch using surveillance drones of large sectors, or target specific areas of susceptibility that require strengthening.
A drone security service will rapidly plug any weaknesses in defence or scale up capability for an increase in threat to staff, assets and premises. Deployed as a stand-alone service, or attached to supplement existing security measures. Airvis offers technical ability, intelligence, efficiency, and cost savings to ensure that our service remains affordable and sustainable.

How Drones can Save Money
Using drones will help your company by reducing costs whilst improving work flows. It is the responsibility of all business to identify ways to reduce costs without sacrificing quality of work and unacceptable increase of risks in security resilience. There are associated costs with all project goals, such as operational efficiency and safety and drone technology is spearheading these to make organizations run more smoothly.
At the core of drone efficiency is the unique ability to make surveillance and data readily available, highly responsive and accessible to all. Using drones will help your company by reducing costs whilst improving work flows.
Unforeseen circumstances, and downtime from injury or claim will cost an organisation in loss in reputation and money. Security drones directly mitigate risk by their ability to patrol areas that are hazardous to humans. A security drone operator can identify threats and risk to their personal safety and evaluate their response, all from a safe distance. In most cases, the security drone operator can identify and track a target without the subject being aware, thereby improving situational awareness and maintaining greater control of the incident.

Speed and Efficiency
Drones bring speed and efficiency on every mission. Whether it is a routine foot patrol, or a response to an incident. Security drones can rapidly deploy and gather critical data more efficiently than foot and mobile patrols combined. Larger areas can be covered in a fraction of time compared to traditional patrols, and with greater accuracy in data.
The increase in aerial patrols does not come at the cost in human fatigue either. Security personnel can cover larger areas, more frequently, and lower their levels of exertion over a shift period.

Security Drones add Value
Receiving drone security patrols also means that clients have a valuable business support tool that can be used to support business operations and Health and Safety monitoring and compliance on site. This increase in data improves workflows requiring fewer people or external contractors. As an example, drone security teams can provide data on roof conditions, car parks, roads, woodland and abnormal heat detection (fire warden) as part of normal aerial patrols.
Improved Results
Thanks to efficient qualities drones exhibit, they can be deployed more frequently, increasing the organization’s awareness of their area or point-of-interest. Drone data can be quickly gathered and shared with management enabling dynamic decision-making process that can save time and money.
