The Advantages of Drone Security in Rural AreasCriminals don’t care about the regulations surrounding the use of drones. The current legal requirement for professional and recreational drone operators does not apply to them. They don’t have to maintain line of sight of their drones during flight, request permission from land owners to fly, or worry about the safety of other air users, or the general public on the ground. They will fly as far as the drone signal will allow them, well beyond the legal range in the UK, and as high as they need to observe a location to assist with their plan.
Drones can be purchased second-hand, and registered accounts are easily set up under an alias. Even though some manufacturers such as DJI, one of the largest producers of OTS drones in the world require an account, it is not verified with ID, and only requires an email to set up.
