Autonomous Drone Station
Our Autonomous Drone Stations are rugged, reliable, and are built to operate 24/7, day or night, rain or shine. Each station houses a multi sensor drone where it lands, recharges, takes off, and executes missions programmed by the remote operator.
What is an Autonomous Drone?
An autonomous drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which operates on AI enabled navigation and operating software, without the assistance of a human pilot on the ground. Otherwise known as drone charging stations our drone station solutions can provide drone operations through autonomy.
The shift towards integrating this technology and eventual regulatory and legal framework opens the possibility to operate and control routine tasks for businesses without the human pilot physical flying the drone on location. A drone charging station has technologies on board that provide the concept of regular human tasks being conducted by automated flights introducing cost saving, efficiency, and reliable safe aerial operations.

Can a Drone be Automated?
Automated drone technology improves efficiency by eliminating the need for any local human interaction whilst providing seamless access to routine, regular and real time information and data. The docking station is environmentally protected from all weather conditions and it is equipped to power and charge the unmanned aerial vehicle via a charging pad. Take off, flight, landing, and recharging are all achieved through autonomy. The complete system includes the drone charging station which houses the drone, an all weather day and night capable drone and the user software and communications required for the station to communicate with the remote user. The station is operated over cloud based flight control and mission software.
Key Features
The emerging technology around autonomous drone stations offers greater control, increased frequency in operations, and delivers security and surveillance capabilities with a high reliability whilst focusing on greater volume of combined missions and data. A drone charging station payload can combine aerial photography with thermal cameras, gas detection, spot lights, and loud speakers into a single system.
All Weather Drone OperationsRoutine tasks, site surveys and security patrols cannot stop due to incremental weather. The Docking Station is rated IP55 and the core internal components IP67, making it waterproof and dustproof even when it is open.
The stations interior is climate controlled for safe charging temperatures between -35 to 50 degrees Celsius. |
Quick Charging and DeploymentAfter landing, the drone can be charged and airborne again in just 25 minutes due to internal climate control air conditioning.
When the drone lands, its batteries are hot and need to cool down to optimal temperatures for optimal charging. Cool air is blown through the batteries to cool them down so every charge is as efficient as possible. |
7km Range and 40 Minutes Flgiht TimeAutomated aerial persistent patrols is built on two foundations: range and flight time. A single Docking Station will cover an operational radius of seven kilometres with 40 minutes of flight time per mission.
The drones range and flight time also combine to enable persistent site security, along with a regular eye in the sky on large-scale engineering and construction projects. For greater coverage, multiple docks can be stationed at intervals and programmed to provide coordinated data. Two docks are all that’s needed to have a drone in the air at all times. |
World Wide Remote OperationsThe station operations are managed through our remote flight software. The application is set up for flight plans and mission schedules, handle data storage, and management and collaborate with teams on data processing.
Everything from mission planning to data review can be carried out remotely. It’s an unprecedented level of cloud control and oversight for remote operations. Imagery can be live streamed anywhere in the world with low latency. This enables key decision makers to be fully informed in real time. |
Self Monitoring
The station is built around a health management system which ensures it is self maintained and requires low maintenance. A IP rated housing protects all electronics and provides environmental control. The drone battery can be fast charged in 25 mins and the batteries health can be easily monitored remotely. And deviation from normal safe operating status is communicated via the flight control hub.

Security, Site Monitoring and Emergency Response
Routine human interaction and work flows on site can be conducted by drone operations via the autonomous drone station. Our IP rated 24hr capable commercial drone is equipped with technology developed to provide routine aerial patrols, track monitoring tasks, and launch for emergency response when required.
Mission Live Streaming
An all in one cloud-based drone operations management platform achieves comprehensive, real time situational awareness. Operators can access information to plan drone operations, plan a mission, supervise operations, and manage the data collected. Multiple users can be connected to simultaneous missions, ensuring that your entire team can be updated in real time through high resolution video streaming.
